Welcome to your natural medicine practice and yoga school in Darmstadt, Germany, near Frankfurt. My name is Karfried Kessler (Upanishad), I was born in 1964 in Germany and am the father of three Brazilian-German children.
I am a practitioner of natural medicine („Heilpraktiker“) with emphasis on homeopathy, foot reflexology and yoga-therapy. In the practice I join Western science with Eastern wisdom. Body, vital energy, emotions, thoughts, spirit and soul form an inseparable whole. My consultations are individual, not standardized and seek self-healing. Please get in contact to learn more.
At the Yoga school I teach integral Hatha Yoga. For me the balance between mind and body is important as well as relaxation and self-perception. My courses are recognized by German health insurances and reimbursed respectively. The range of courses is quite wide. Please get in contact to know more.
A bit of history
I arrived in Brazil in 1991 following the call of my heart, married a Brazilian woman and lived for twelve years in Brasília DF. At that time I was a pioneer in the work with Reiki, a healing technique through the touch of the hands. In 1998 I published the book „Reiki – The Path of the Heart“ by Ground Publisher, Sao Paulo.
2003 I returned to Germany, later became „Heilpraktiker“, having the official permission of the German government to make diagnoses and attend with natural healing techniques. I also absolved a formation as Hatha Yoga teacher and regularly offer courses and individual attendance with Yoga therapy.
In 2010 I met Dinah Rodrigues and worked as a translator and assistant in some of her hormone therapy yoga teacher training courses in Germany. With Dinah I trained as a yoga therapist in anti-stress and andropause hormone therapy in 2016.
